Our volunteers definitely rose to the challenge to ‘dress as your favourite research project’ at a recent thank-you dinner at the CLLMM Research Centre.
Held as part of our volunteer week celebrations, the event was a great opportunity for our supporters to come together and be reminded of how important their contribution is to the Research Centre, and the region overall.
Uncle Lawrie welcomed the group to Country, guest speaker Assoc Prof Douglas Bardsley (Adelaide University) took us through climate change trends in the region, and the night was topped off with incredible music from Rob Edwards.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who attended the event. Together, you help strengthen knowledge, connection, and care for the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth region.
