We’re inviting First Nations community to join us at the Centre on Friday 28 August to learn more about River Stories, meet the team behind the project, chat through ideas and see if it’s something you’d like to be involved in!
River Stories is a series of connected art installations and performances planned across three states (May 2027) that will respond to one of Australia’s ongoing problems – how to care better for the Murray-Darling waterways and the peoples, plants and animals of the river system’s communities.
The River Stories team will be creating performances and art installations with community members and scientists. There will be opportunities for paid employment to participate creatively.
Come along to meet artists Vic McEwan, Sarah McEwan and David Doyle to talk more about River Stories and how you can be involved.
The River Stories team will also be screening their documentary ‘More than a fish kill’ at this event to show the kind of work they’ve made before and what’s led them to undertake River Stories.
