Project Overview

Meaningful engagement with community and stakeholders is critical to inform the development of science and maximise benefits of research outcomes. This honours project aims to understand how people engage with science, and how this can be improved to enhance connections across the region.

The honours project will involve a combination of surveys and community events to will explore the public’s relationship with science and the natural environment. The project will include a ‘Science by the Shore’ community event on the 28th July 2025.
