A big thank you to everyone who journeyed with us on the Spirit of the Coorong this month for our freshwater and saltwater science tours. These free events formed part of our Summer Series of Science program, where guests were treated to stunning views of the Coorong or River Murray alongside expert commentary on the ecology and history of the region.
We were delighted to host the sell-out events and thank all of the speakers for so generously sharing their knowledge with us:
- Lawrie Agius (Welcome to Country)
- Bronwyn Gillanders (Adelaide University)
- John Kandulu (Flinders University)
- Julie Jones (community member and river advocate)
- Craig Styan (Adelaide University)
- Brianna Le Busque (Adelaide University)
Our final event of the summer, Speed Dating with Science (climate adaptation), is sold out, but we’ve opened up a waitlist for last minute tickets. Don’t miss being part of this vital conversation in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Add your name to the list for a chance to mingle with eight scientists from various climate-related disciplines at the Centre, who’ll be sharing their insights and ready to answer all your climate-related questions.
