Survey FAQs

What are they looking for?

Your insight. Your thoughts. Specifically: we want to know the challenges and opportunities you believe are most likely to influence the Coorong, Lower Lakes, and Murray Mouth in the future. We also want your perspectives on the most important and novel (unasked and unaddressed) research questions for the region.

What happens with the information?

Your (anonymous) responses will be combined with others and analysed by Dr Bri Le Busque (UniSA) and Professor Melissa Nursery-Bray (University of Adelaide) using a technique called horizon scanning. Horizon scanning is a well-established method for identifying relatively unknown and emerging threats and opportunities that allows sufficient lead time to establish research and develop actions.

This process is designed to uncover and prioritise both current and emerging challenges and opportunities—particularly those that may otherwise be overlooked. As the survey focuses on our region, the insights gained will be relevant and accessible to anyone interested in understanding its future.
